JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a top-notch, personable, and hard working Vice President of Operations to join our team at BRIGHTBOX. The Director of Operations will be responsible for all aspects of the business post point of sale including supply chain management, finance, HR and general business operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Below is a list of the responsibilities and duties of this job.


Manage and execute all business operations post point of sale 


Managing all finances of the business


Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operation strategy, and hiring needs


Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning


Oversee employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met


Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention


Work with CEO to aggressively manage and track financial cash flow, planning, building financial models, tax filing, and reconciliation to ensure company achieves targets relative to growth and profitability


Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting


Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement


Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with CEO


Maintain and build trusted relationships with key vendors, clients, and partners


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related field


3+ years experience in leadership positions


Deep financial understanding, ability to create financial models & projections


Leadership skills, with resolve and personal integrity


Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues


Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics


Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues


Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills


Superior management and interpersonal skills

You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing our B2C go-to-market strategy, partnering with Product and Operations teams to obsess over customers and accelerate business growth. You will be driving an early stage startup in a high growth phase, leveraging your persuasive communication style and visionary storytelling in conjunction with innovative creativity.


The Director will be accountable for strategic planning, oversight and execution of all relevant marketing functions within the company, including but not limited to: brand marketing, digital, email, automation, go-to-market strategy, and social marketing.

Plan and implement all content strategy and creation


Define segmentation, positioning, messaging, go-to-market, and lifecycle strategies based on market research, competitive analysis, and an unwavering focus on the customer


Analyze marketing trends relative to Brightbox


Conduct market research to identify personas/target demographics


Creating campaigns designed to generate inbound interest and sales leads


Developing cohesive marketing strategies and marketing plans


Developing core brand messaging


Directing the development of advertising campaigns, oversee social media strategy and implementation


Create marketing reports


Develop a yearly budget alongside CEO and Director of Operations


Manage marketing spend in various channels including FB, IG, Google, Pinterest, + more


Manage e-commerce website


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business marketing, or related field


Proactive approach to projects, always thinking ahead: Shows initiative to drive results and solve problems and can always be counted on to follow through


Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools


Self-directed personality with an ability to enthusiastically prioritize multiple functions and tasks


Ability to communicate effectively in speech and writing


A customer focused attitude


Content creation experience


SEO and PPC experience, certifications preferred


Strong drive for results


Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams


Ability to analyze problems and create a solution


Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

Responsibilities

Assisting customer orders from incoming calls, e-mails, and online messaging

Assisting customers with basic customer service pertaining to selection of merchandise, managing shipment problems, processing returns, and inventory questions


Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Basic computer skills

Reasoning and problem solving skills

Typing speed of 55-75 WPM

Positive attitude 

Ability to work quickly and collaboratively as a team

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Brightbox as an Order Fulfillment Specialist! As part of our fulfillment team, you manage inventory, receive and fulfill orders in an efficient manner. This is a fast-paced and occasionally physical position, meaning you must be able to stand, crouch, and lift objects and parcels throughout your shift. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with order fulfillment software and strong data entry and customer service skills.


Responsibilities

Receive and fulfill orders in a timely, efficient manner

Note inventory levels and alert supervisors to potential issues


Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED certificate

Prior experience with fulfillment software preferred

The physical ability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout a standard workday
